Give a terracotta planter a fresh citrus-inspired look. Bright yellow lemons, white blossoms, green leaves, and deep blue mosaic details create a lively design that captures the feeling of a sunlit Mediterranean garden.
The warm terracotta background balances the cooler blue accents, while the botanical shapes bring interest around the planter. This project combines a love of plants with the pleasure of making a colorful home accent yourself.
Fresh details, lasting character
Cheerful citrus motif: Lemons and blossoms create an immediately recognizable garden design.
Warm-and-cool contrast: Terracotta, yellow, and blue bring balance to the palette.
Decorative mosaic surface: Tile shapes give the finished planter texture and personality.
A project for plant lovers: Create a handmade setting for a favorite small plant.
Create a sunny plant corner
Place the finished planter on a windowsill, shelf, or plant stand. Surround it with simple neutral pots so the lemon pattern remains the focal point, and choose a plant suited to the planter's size and growing conditions.
Made at your own pace
Work around the design in manageable sections and follow the project directions for securing and finishing the mosaic. Complete any recommended drying steps before putting the planter into use.
